A permanent manned space station 22,300 miles above the earth is Tom Swift’s latest project!
    The daring scientific venture becomes a necessity when Tom discovers that his remarkable new solar battery can only be produced outside earth’s atmosphere. A fac- tory in outer space is the bold solution — if the young inventor can find a way to train teams of astronauts to work in a zero-gravity environment, and can overcome a fiendish enemy and the mysterious Gorilla-like phantom stalking Tom and his friends.
